a long time ago
you gave me a novel
probably mostly for the joke
called the little lame prince
and i finally have gotten around to reading it
and i must say
that i enjoyed it
it turns out
though
that the story was only half of the book
you probably knew that
but the other half is the adventures of a brownie
i liked the narration of the little lame prince
it was told in the point of view of the author
and sometimes she spoke of herself
and such
the next part will not spoil the story
just tell you what it is about
which does require telling a bit of the story
but not much
so if you dont want any to be spoiled
then dont read it
but im sure it wont make a difference
the story is mostly about a prince
who was dropped on his coronation as a baby
and his legs never grew right
then his mother then his father died
and he was crowned king
his fathers brother was named the regent
since the prince who is now king was too young to rule
and one day the regent sent the king on a journey for a while
and his servents came back a few days later
saying that the king had gotten sick and died
so the regent was king
and the prince wasnt really dead
and then the story continues
if you or anyone can get their hands on another copy of this book
i would recommend getting it and reading it

today we went to see avatar
i will start by saying that a long time ago
about two months ago
my friend briana told me they were making a live action avatar
like avatar the airbender
aang
so i searched for some proof of this statement
and instead found avatar
the one that everyone knows and loves
with the na'vi
and cool 3d visuals
i never did find proof of avatar the last airbender live-actioned up
so if anyone knows anything about it
then please just leave a comment
anyways
i started watching previews of avatar
and i thought it seemed pretty cool
then when it came out in theaters
i just didnt feel like going to see it
you see
i dont like movie theaters very much
but when everyone else started going to see it
and constantly talking about how amazing it was
i started wanting to go and see it
but wasnt quite convinced
i thought id watch it when it came out on dvd
but then everyone kept saying how you had to see it in 3d
so thats when clint taylor mom and i all went together to go watch it
today
in 3d
and it was amazing
it is another one of those sci-fi/fantasies
that when i finish watching it
or reading it in most cases
i just want to kick myself because i cant think of anything that amazing
i want to write a book
but i just cant think of anything that would actually interest people
i cant think of anything as great as lotr or hp
but oh well
watch avatar
hurry
before it leaves theaters
which i think is soon
if you dont
then personally
i think it would be just fine not in 3d
i like 3d
but i dont think it adds too much to a movie
just makes it more realistic is all

i just want to add that i read howls moving castle
the original book
as written by diana wynne jones
and i think it is brilliant
most likely even better than the miyazaki movie
i need to watch the movie to compare before anything final however
so i ordered it from netflix and cant wait
diana wynne jones is possibly the best fantasy writer ever
now i am done

but i forgot
so here is post 51

cousins just left not too long ago
boo hoo
ill miss you anna
and joey and katie
and aunt chris and uncle gerard
and of course penny
even though you were a pest
and kept poor pim locked up all the time

we had tons of fun
as you can imagine
we went bowling
and all of us were utterly horrible
wii bowling
you messed us all up
thanks a lot
i scored 70 in round one
then 76
poor anna didnt even break 50 the first round
she only got 39
we had rave parties
and bought cheap guns that shoot fake rounds
and had gun fights
we attempted to geocash
but kept getting caught by cops
haha
but we did find one in the walmart parking lot
grandma was funny as ever
oh! its a banana
we opened gifts
i got a used sleeping bag
a bag
a candle
and a ribbon
yep
hoo ha toe!
all the kids but kate and i
had a water balloon fight
they are crazy
its freezing outside
but they said they had fun
and as i cleaned up the balloon remnants
i could tell that it was and epic fight
we stayed up really late every night
and played munchkin
and chelak monopoly
and wii gravity
having tons of fun
and i really will miss them
i already miss them
but things arent all bad
cause now we have skype
so we can visit them all the time
new years didnt seem as big and festive this year
not as much
i was the first to do this
as usual
in fact i didnt do any
so
i was the first to tap myself on the head three times with my foot

next few weeks will be busy
school starts again
and i have midterms
and a bunch of tests
and MAPS testing
and region and county auditions
and orchestra tom and tuesday
and and a recital the 20th
and resumed thursday lessons
hrm
i think thats all
i really dont want to do any of it
i am tired of doing stuff
i just want to do nothing
nothing
like right now
this would be the life
