today

today we played video games all morning
until about five oclock actually
when mom said that we needed to get out of the house
so she cut up some fruit
and we left
we went to a park in provo??? canyon
and we sat at a picnic table and ate peaches watermelon strawberries and pineapple
the pineapple was especially delicious
then we just walked around
then drove off to another park
and we just sort of happened upon a trail
that we walked on
and it kept going up the mountain
and splitting to different paths
and we ended up on top of a huge hill
looking into valleys of other hills
and everything was beautiful
and great
the wind
which usually bothers me
didnt
and the bugs didnt bother me either
nothing did
it was just peaceful and great
words cannot describe
i found animal poop
and melissa taylor mom and maybe even clint saw a deer
but i didnt see it
that was disappointing
but there will always be other opportunities
so we ended up having a lot of fun
and i will definitely be going back there again

we are here in utah
to update you on before we got here
...

one thing i forgot to say about the reunion
we went into a corn field
because it was just across the street from the farmhouse
we all got really ichy
and wet
and rashy
and it was not a good idea
keep that for a future note
we left
and entered iowa at 11:52
as i said
but it really was 10:52
because of the time change
then we entered nebraska at 6:50
but really 5:50
we stayed in a hotel there
then we left the next day
we entered the mountain time zone at 4:07
but 3:07 mountain time zone time
we entered colorodo at 3:51 mtz
we stayed at a hotel in colorodo
we entered wyoming at 11:30 mtz
and later utah at 5:37 mtz
the elevation where we entered utah was 6860
along the trek
we basically listened to music and talked and read
we found every license plate but connecticut rhode island and vermont
we saw along the way some deer
lots of dead deer
two alive raccoons
an alive ground hog
i saw a camel
!!!!
for reals
it was just sitting in this tiny fenced in area next to a shabby barn
we saw an alpaca farm
a HUGE cow farm
with lots of poop
and tons of cows in miserable little fenced in areas
two donkeys
melissa and i saw a pony or a horse
that was just standing on a road that the interstate exited to
that led to a ranch
but he got out of the fence
!!!
we saw a badger
we passed the pony express
and buffalo bills ranch
and that is all
now we have gone to family dinner parties
and hiked timpanogos mountain
and gone into the cave
that was really cool
and cold
i loved it
im all moved into my room
all of my books are on the windowsill because i dont have a bookshelf
and it goes to three levels of books
some books are on my dresser
and some on my end table
i have a lot of books
if i remember anything else
i will update

journey ii

i drove us into nauvoo
i had to drive through a torrential downpour
words cannot describe it
i could barely see anything past the fog and rain
there were times when i couldnt see the lines on the road
so we arrived in historic nauvoo
we watched the pageant
and took the tours
and hung out with cousins
we played lots of bananagrams
in which i won a lot
now we are leaving
we just entered iowa at 11:52
one thing about nauvoo
it is way too humid here
i am glad we are leaving

7we have officially left
clint is driving
pim is quiet but breathing hard
we have crossed over to north carolina
we crossed at 1:13
we have 10 of the license plates

we just passed a deer
and then into a tunnel
then through really slow traffic
due to a rockslide
it was really cool
yet sort of creepy
now into tennessee at 2:37

i just got off driving duty
pretty landscapes
and a groundhog eating by the side of the road
we entered kentucky at 5:27
i drove my whole shift with the door open
there never was time to close it
we passed by bristol
and london
melissa is driving now
pim got out of her cage
she is still breathing hard and unresponsive
she hasnt eaten or drank
or gone to the bathroom

we are in a hotel in frankfort kentucky
we are about to go eat

day two
we left the hotel around 11:00
ive been sitting in the back with pim
shes trying to sleep in my lap
she kept climbing under the beds at the hotel
we have made it into indiana
im not sure when
i was reading
we just left the gas station
where we had subway
melissas driving now

we got back from arlington virginia not long ago
and i already miss my cousins
we had quite an adventure
hundred square hopscotch
soccer
tennis
rockin' robin
butterbeer
and many other adventures
i would like to say
however
that i beat anna and taylor in life
and clue...
i beat anna in clue
again
the second time in a row!
i will miss them
hopefully you guys can visit next summer
and maybe the new years after that we can visit you
we shall make arrangements

coming up
tomorrow is pack up day
we will put everything on the truck to ready for our voyage across the us
now my mom just said that it is time for bed
because tomorrow is such a big day
i will keep everyone in touch about the progress of our travels
