i agree with meredith
we havent been posting as much
which isnt because i dont like it
or dont have the time
but i dont have anything to say
like now
and every time i do post
i talk about how i have nothing to post about
so it is always the same
i added once again to the book list
if anyone actually looks at it
or reads any of it
who would like to know
we went on our trip to virginia
which was okay
except historic jamestown
because we didnt do anything
except go on a tour
with a mean tour guide lady
who always yelled at us for going too slow
but other than that the trip was fun
we went to busch gardens
rode rollercoasters
but my favorite was the 3d ride
darkastle
it really felt like we were falling
i started back to school again today
now that spring break is over
and it was as lame
if not more
than i expected
why do we have to go through so much school
i understand a few years
but harder few years
that you learn more
and start school later
not when we are five
or whatever
because i dont remember anything that i learned in first grade
or kindergarten
and especially preschool
i dont really remember much of anthing from elementary
or even middle school
but that was probably because we have such bad teachers
i have yet another audition this weekend
and im not really sure if i want to
it is for the greenville county youth symphony
and i dont know anything about their program
ive heard good
and bad
well
life continues as bothersome usual
but it could be worse
you do remember what you learned
ReplyDeleteits just so standard for you
that it doesnt feel like you ever learned it
like when i ask what 2+2 is
you know it's 4
yay first grade
also
without elementary school
you wouldnt understand a word of what im saying!
and middle school taught you that x isnt a worthless letter
its a misunderstood math symbol
and pie is delicious
bwooga!
yes, elementary school and middle school are the foundation to your current education, which will be the next layer of bricks in the education brickstack in a few years.
ReplyDeletei agree, they could hurry it up a bit. maybe not at first, but as the years go on, pick up the pace little by little. my current social studies class is one of the slowest-moving classes i've ever had. we stay on one standard for, like, a month or two.
the teachers in this region are bad. that one i flat out agree with you. and you've heard my complaints.
gcyo will be a good experience. i personally think it sounds much more professional. they probably have their own problems, though.
